What is KarmaGuides?
KarmaGuides is an introduction service. We connect people who are looking for spiritual and holistic guidance with practitioners we have personally vetted.
We are not a marketplace. We do not process payments. We do not host sessions. We make one introduction at a time. A seeker is matched with one guide, based on what they shared in a quiz. Sessions, scheduling, and payments happen directly between you and the seeker. You keep everything.
We say no to most applicants. That is not to be exclusive. It is to protect the trust of the seekers who rely on us to make a good introduction.
Who is a KarmaGuide?
A KarmaGuide is any serious practitioner in a spiritual, energetic, holistic, or healing tradition. We work with Jyotish astrologers, Akashic readers, Reiki healers, shadow work coaches, Ayurvedic consultants, Human Design analysts, family constellation facilitators, somatic coaches, Sufi guides, Buddhist teachers, and practitioners across more than 70 other modalities.
If your work is real, your lineage is genuine, and you take your clients seriously, you belong here.
How to apply
Fill out the application at karmaguides.com/apply. The application includes a case study question. We ask you to describe how you would actually work with a real seeker situation. A person reads every answer before anyone is accepted.
How matching works
The short version
A seeker answers 9 questions about what they are working on, what kind of support they want, which traditions they connect with, and how quickly they need to connect with someone. Our system reads their answers and finds the guide whose profile matches best.
The seeker sees one primary match. Not a list. Not a directory. One person. The one most likely to be right for them.
What the system looks at
The matching looks at five things:
1. Tradition alignment
Whether the seeker trusts ancient lineage-based wisdom such as Vedic, Eastern, or indigenous traditions, or modern synthesis approaches such as Human Design, energy work, or new frameworks. Whether your tradition matches what they are drawn to.
2. Approach alignment
Whether your style is directive (you guide clearly and tell them what you see), collaborative (you discover answers together), or facilitative (you hold space for their own knowing). Whether that matches what the seeker is looking for.
3. Domain coverage
Whether the life areas you work with (relationships, career, health, purpose, grief, spiritual seeking) match what the seeker is going through.
4. Situation affinity
Whether the kinds of situations you work best with (people in crisis, major transitions, repeating patterns, timing questions) match what the seeker described.
5. Language and availability
Whether you work in the seeker's language. Whether your typical booking time matches how urgently they need support.
What this means for you
The more specific and honest your profile is, the better your matches will be. A profile that says you work with everyone matches with no one specifically. A profile that says exactly who you serve and how you work will bring you the seekers who are right for you.
Your profile fields are not decoration. They are what the matching engine reads.
The role of AI
When a seeker completes the quiz, an AI reads their answers and writes a short reflection for them. A paragraph that mirrors back what they shared. This is shown to the seeker before they see their match. It helps them feel understood.
The AI does not decide who you are matched with. The matching is done by the algorithm described above. The AI only writes the reflection.
Your profile
What your profile includes
Your KarmaGuides profile is a professional page that is yours. It shows:
- Your name and photo
- Your positioning line (one sentence, 12 words maximum, that says exactly who you help and how)
- Your primary modality and any others you practise
- Your bio
- How you work: session formats, languages, pricing
- Your booking link
Seekers who match with you see this page. You can also share the link anywhere. It works as your link in bio on Instagram, your website, your WhatsApp status, anywhere you want people to find you.
What makes a strong profile
The positioning line is the most important field. It is the first thing a seeker reads. It should say who you work with and what changes for them. Not your credentials. Your outcome.
Examples:
- I read your chart so you stop guessing and start moving.
- I help people in grief find solid ground through ancestral healing.
- Somatic coaching for people who are exhausted in ways sleep does not fix.
The matching fields that matter most:
- Domains you work with: be specific. If you primarily work with career and purpose, say that. Do not tick every box.
- Tradition: ancient lineage-based, modern synthesis, or both. Be honest.
- Approach: directive, collaborative, or facilitative. Pick the one that is most true.
- Situations you work best with: who specifically do you serve well?
- Who you do not work with: this protects you and the seeker. Be clear.
- Typical wait time: how far in advance are people booking with you right now?
How to set up your profile
After your application is approved, you will receive an email with a link to set up your dashboard. Log in and fill in your profile fields. Your profile goes live once you save it.
Your profile URL is karmaguides.com/guides/your-name. You can change it from your dashboard at any time. Note that changing your URL will break any existing links to your profile.
When a seeker finds you
How you are notified
When a seeker is matched with you and clicks through to your booking link, you will receive an email. The email tells you:
- What the seeker is working on (their life domain and situation)
- What they wrote in their own words
- Their email address
- A note that they found you through KarmaGuides
The email reply goes directly to the seeker. You can reach out to them however you normally work. WhatsApp, email, your booking system. There is no middleman.
What the seeker knows
The seeker knows your name, your modality, your positioning line, and your full profile before they click through to you. When they reach out, they already know who you are and why they were matched with you.
Your sessions, your way
Everything after the introduction is yours. You set your own prices, your own schedule, your own session format. You collect payment however you collect payment. KarmaGuides takes nothing.
When a seeker reaches out, we recommend mentioning that you saw they came through KarmaGuides. This helps both of you understand the context of the introduction.
Pricing
What KarmaGuides costs right now
Nothing. KarmaGuides is free for all guides at this stage.
There are no listing fees, no subscription fees, and no commission on sessions. You keep 100% of what your clients pay you.
What comes later
A paid tier will be introduced in the future. Only after we can show you that KarmaGuides is genuinely sending you clients. You will receive at least 30 days written notice before any fees are introduced. The paid tier will be priced so that one session covers the cost of the subscription.
We will never charge you before we have proven we can deliver leads.
Podcast
We are exploring the possibility of a podcast where guides can share their background, their lineage, and their practice. This is not confirmed and there is no timeline.

Frequently asked questions
A person reads every application. There is no automated approval. The case study question is the most important part. It tells us how you actually think about your work with a real seeker situation.
We aim to respond within 5 to 7 days. You will hear from us either way. Yes, no, or a question.
Yes. Log in to your dashboard at any time to update your profile, photo, bio, booking link, or any other field. Changes take effect immediately.
Yes. In your dashboard, toggle off "Accepting new clients". Your profile stays visible but you will not appear in any new matches and will not receive match notifications. Toggle back on whenever you are ready. You do not need to contact us.
We work across more than 70 modalities in 7 families: Blueprint Readers, Diviners and Intuitives, Energy Healers, Shamanic and Earth Traditions, Transpersonal Mentors, Wisdom Traditions, and Holistic Wellness. If your modality is not listed, you can suggest it in your application.
When a seeker clicks your booking button, you receive an email with their contact details. You reach out to them however you normally work. There is no in-platform messaging.
No. KarmaGuides is completely free for seekers.
Yes. The notification email tells you they came from KarmaGuides. We recommend confirming this with the seeker when you first connect.
We match seekers and guides on language. Add every language you work in to your profile. Seekers who share your language are prioritised to match with you.
Not yet. The platform works on all mobile browsers. Your dashboard and profile are fully mobile-friendly.
